    Average Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at KPMG (Reading, England (UK)) in March 2015.

    Interview

Online Application followed by Situational Judgement Test, then 2 ability tests - Verbal and Numerical which need to be passed to progress to next stage. Verbal was quite easy but numerical was a bit difficult. Although I don't think they're looking for the applicant to get everything right, just less wrong. Next stage is Phone interview, and then Assessment Centre and Partner Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at KPMG (Reading, England (UK)) in August 2010.

    Interview

Initial application online which was quite straightforward. Then, online testing - numerical and verbal, relatively easy, though some people found it more difficult (as I found out at the assessment centre). Then a phone interview which was standardised, and which the interviewer was typing up as we went along - there were competency questions, in line with their stated competencies on the website, as well as some questions about the company - what they do, why you'd want to work with them, &c. Thereafter, an invitation to an Assessment Centre, the travel to which they paid for; the assessment centre had around 10 other applicants there, we had an e-tray exercise, where you have to deal with questions and issues as they come in, then a partner interview, at which you do a pre-prepared presentation for about 10 minutes on an issue KPMG can work on with a client. The partner interview had some competency questions but was mainly an honest chat. Mine overran and was an hour because we had an interesting chat. Offer came through the next day.

    Negotiation

No negotiation - all is very bureaucratic.
