I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5+ months. I interviewed at KPMG (Washington, DC).

    Interview

I had 2 screening phone interviews and then two behavioral phone interviews. I had my first screen in December 2016 and instead of in person interviews, I had 30 min. phone interviews, because of a schedule conflict.

    Interview

This is why KPMG is the best. Here is what I did to receive my full time offer: 1) network with the campus recruiter before the recruiting events event start. This helps get your face in the room before a lot of applications come in. 2) Attend the recruiting events. This is simple because you want to see if this is the company you want to work for and it shows the recruiting team you're interested. 3). Apply. This is simple as it seems. Step 1 is crucial for this because this can separate yourself from the rest. 4) Campus interviews. Be yourself and study up on KPMG especially the federal practice if you're interested. STAR practicing as well. 5) super day aka second round. Be yourself again and you're almost out of the woods. 6) Offer! Overall, awesome and relaxing process by KPMG

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at KPMG (Washington, DC) in September 2016.

    Interview

A KPMG recruiter found me on LinkedIn. I ended up going through 2 screening calls with recruiters, one 3-hour interview with multiple team members, and 2 final phone interviews before I received he offer.

    Interview Questions

    • Very straightforward questions. It was clear the team was looking for a cultural and personality fit. The fact that I made it past 2 phone screens meant I was obviously qualified to do the work.
      -Tell me about yourself.
-What's your favorite part of your current job?

    Application

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at KPMG (Washington, DC).

    Interview

There were a total of 3 interviews. I got to really know the recruiter, which made the process easier. The first interview was a phone interview. The final two interviews were in the office. The managers/partners are laid back and want to get know about you as a person. Questions were straight forward.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at KPMG (Washington, DC) in January 2016.

    Interview

Contacted by HR Recruiter after submitting resume online. Had a brief phone screening. Scheduled for an in person interview with a hiring manager and two members of his team. Had a one on one interview with each person where the focus was on my experience and how it would fit a team at KPMG. No real tell me about a time when.... or test-type of questions were presented to me. Was called in for a second interview with a different hiring manager. Just one person this time. Had a final interview with a partner. HR Recruiter called me a few days after and said an offer was imminent. That took about 2 weeks and then I had less than 48 hours to respond.

I applied through college or university. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at KPMG (Washington, DC) in October 2015.

    Interview

First had an interview at my university, essentially to determine if I was eligible for the position, with a manager. Then I had a second round interview at the office that I applied to with a manager and a partner. The second round included a description of the clients that this particular office specializes in. I got the feeling that by the time of my second interview they already had in their mind who the top candidates were for the positions.

    Interview

Before I was selected for an interview, I talked to the recruiter on the phone to get a feel for what I was looking for. He then put me down for a campus interview. During the campus interview I was interviewed by someone on the recruiting team. It that was very much like a conversation. Then, if selected for 2nd rounds, you travel to the office and interview with a senior manager and a partner. Not difficult just be yourself and ask good questions.

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took a week. I interviewed at KPMG (Washington, DC) in May 2015.

    Interview

I got an email from the recruiter saying they wanted to set up a phone screening. I sent her some times and, without confirming, she called me at 8AM the next day. She asked me basic questions like what I was interested and what salary I was looking for.

It moved pretty fast from there, I had a second phone interview and then at 4PM on Tuesday they asked if I could come in at 1PM on Wednesday. I had two "job fit" type interviews, just "tell me about your resume" "why KPMG" type stuff. The conversations were very casual and enjoyable. Although one Manager told me that "KPMG is a BFD to have on your resume, and once you get your foot in the door you don't have to do well after that." Take that as you will.

From there I was asked to come in on Friday for an hour meeting with (who would be) my hiring manager. She showed up late and was super frazzled and appeared really stressed out. She let me know that the job would be tough but we had a great conversation and she asked me when I could start.

From there I've heard nothing. No response from any of the managers I spoke to. Four weeks after my last interview I received an email from the recruiter saying that she would get me a final decision by the end of the week...that was three weeks ago. I did follow up several times. Pretty disorganized process.
