Easy Interview

Application

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Kohl's.

Interview

Group interview, was pretty relaxed and straight forward. Everybody got to know each other and answered questions without any tension, store manager also introduced himself during the interview.

Unfortunately I have to fill the word minimum here but that was literally it. No hoops to jump through, no competing, no pressure, just a relaxed professional group interview.

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Kohl's (Sacramento, CA) in April 2017.

    Interview

After my initial application was submitted I received a link to schedule my interview. I arrived to the customer service desk waited about 5 minutes and the store manager greeted me and asked about 10 questions, told me about the positions available and that if selected I would be sent an email to do the background check and drug screen. Very nice manager and the culture was inviting, up beat and looked like a nice fit for me. This was just last evening, haven't heard back yet.

    Interview

There was a group interview when I went through the hiring process. It was an interesting format with having the opportunity to hear from other potential employee's points of view. The two managers taking the time to listen to each response stressed that they took the process seriously, and wanted to make the right decision for their store.

    Interview

I applied online and received an email to schedule an interview a couple of days later. When I arrived for the interview, I checked in at the customer service desk and sat outside the break room until a manager called me in. The interview process was very easy and relaxed, lasted about 15 minutes. I wore business casual attire and answered all of the questions well. The interviewer seemed enthusiastic and said I did well, but ultimately I did not get an offer. I received an email the next day telling me I did not get the job.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Kohl's (Saint Louis, MO) in August 2016.

    Interview

Very casual and stress free. Not scripted questions, but a conversation that helped us
both determine if it would be a good fit. General questions about benefits were known. I would have preferred more specifics regarding benefits, such as health care costs. The interview ended on a positive note. Kohls works through the process in a timely fashion, that is appreciated.
