i was called in to the lcbo location closest to my residence and interviewed for the position and was hired a week later.
the questions i was asked were standard such as: tell me about yourself, what kind of relevant experience do you have, various customer service questions etc.
there was definitely an emphasis on customer service during the interview.
paid training took place at the bayview village location (which doubles as their head office)

Received a phone call from their recruitment person. They went over some of the qualifications of the role, which included your availability. They asked three simple questions. The call lasted approximately twenty five minutes. Was hired over the same call and informed me that I'd receive an email with the contract offer within a few days that I would need to reply to.

Relatively laid back. Interview with both manager and assistant. One wrote notes while the other asked questions. Not a hostile environment. They were mainly concerned if you have cashier experience and if your available for weekends and Friday.

Group interview setting. Only 3 questions were asked. Two people in the room one asking questions and one recording notes. Filled out additional application beforehand. Took about 15 minutes with time for questions after.
