Applied through a temp agency and interviewed a week later by 3 HR people. They sat me in a freezing cold room and met with each person for about 30 minutes. They asked basic questions about my back ground and were very easy to talk with. They did manage to communicate to me that the CEO is a micromanager, they didn't have a recruiting budget, the culture is very quiet and even secretive about their process of making cancer drugs, they are short staffed and having growing pains. The feedback to my recruiter was that I was excited and nervous which may have been because I was cold. I was quite comfortable so I question if this was ageism.
