Labman Automation Year In Industry Placement Interview Questions

It was a 40-60 min interview with HR, which is not the typical interview where they want to know about you. They seem to be more interested in your general science knowledge.

Had a 45 minute call with a lady from HR, she was very quick to the point and not a lot of small talk. Asked the usual introduction questions then more about what I have achieved in engineering. Afterwards she did a bullet fire round of asking roughly 40 questions (can't remember exactly how many due to how quick they were) where I had a few seconds to give an answer. The questions ranged from electrical engineering, mechanical, materials, maths, workshop equipment and practice, chemistry and general knowledge. Overall, a fine interview although the quickfire round of questions was quite intense and asked questions that had nothing to do with my degree or the role I was applying for. Seemed more like they were looking for an IMEE or robotics student.
