Lake Superior Consulting interview questions

The interview process with HR was fairly standard and lasted about an hour. The questions were typical and mostly focused on the role and company overview. I was told that I seemed like a strong candidate, but they needed to consult with the hiring manager before moving forward. Two weeks later, I received a rejection email stating they were looking for someone "more technical." This was surprising, as I was never given a technical interview or assessment. Overall, the process was professional but lacked transparency regarding evaluation criteria. Based on the interview I had, the company offers a standard benefits package, but compensation appears to be on the lower end, so I wasn’t too disappointed by the outcome.
