Campaign Coordinator Interview

Application

The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (Natick, MA) in March 2012.

Interview

1) Phone interview, 2) 1:1 interview 3) Group interview and a presentation on a case that they provide you when you come in for the interview. You have 20 min to prepare a 10 min presentation on the case.

Staff was very friendly, especially the lower management staff. They encouraged lots of questions and were very interested in getting to know you. Presentation was very appropriate in terms of assessing skill set but it was a little awkward. The staff asked virtually no questions and just stared; but was told I did an exceptional job. Other presentation style interviews were far more participatory and engaging.

The only other negative was that they were very vague on the hiring requirements and timeline (especially for a final candidate) which made it difficult to navigate other offers. They didn't really keep you in the loop and often went days to weeks between interviews before hearing anything. Sent the decision in the mail with no real explanation.

Overall, the interview process is intensive, but not overly difficult.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in January 2011.

    Interview

Very kind and enthusiastic interviewers. Small work culture: it's just one branch of many. The interview on the phone seemed very easy and conversational. The group interview was with two of the higher up people in the branch. I felt comfortable.
