Center Manager Interview

Anonymous Employee in Casper, WY
Accepted Offer
Negative Experience
Easy Interview

Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lincare Holdings (Casper, WY) in January 2016.

Interview

Interview was great but was not informed about the prior history of the store and the damage from prior managers. Other area managers are jealous of new managers coming on so they do not offer information or help. Lincare needs to focus on a team management in every area.

    Center Manager Interview

    Average Interview

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Lincare Holdings (Los Angeles, CA) in April 2013.

    Interview

No resume substitute for their lengthy application. The application length is necessary though. (company should move to electronic applications) once the application was completed it was a bit of phone tag to get an appointment set up. I was the hiring manager's second choice (first choice backed out). TB test, drug test, medical clearance all stuff needed to get hired.

Multiple interviews with Area Manager and Regional Manager. There was a drug test, background check and review of my driver license. After I was offered the job, I still had to wait 3 weeks for the final approval. Interview with Regional Manager was very intense, I prepared myself by reviewing on line all I could about Lincare. Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lincare Holdings (Lakeland, FL) in June 2012.

    Interview

I applied to the job on a job board. Within a week or so I heard back from the district manager via email. We set up a phone interview after 5 since I was working at the time. My phone interview lasted about 30 minutes. We corresponded via email to set up the in-person interview. I met the district manager at the center and it was a pretty standard interview. Later, I was asked to review a pamphlet and was left to study it for a few minutes. I pitched the company and services to the district manager. After the interview he told me that he would call me at the end of the week to let me know something. He didn't call...When I didn't hear back I called to ask if he was still interested. I got the job!
A coworker later told me that he found out that was a test for me to see if I would take the initiative.
