      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at LiveRamp (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2013

      Interview

Received an email to take online test. All questions were same as those seen on glassdoor. I answered them but still got a reject in 2 days. A very good startup to crack.

Don't know what was the answer of the graph question. BFS or Dijkstra's algorithm.

      Interview

Initial test for 3 hours. Felt like real world problem solving based on Graphs. You can find details in other reviews. 45 mins phone call interview with Senior Engineer and Manager. They were more interested in your keen to learn new things. Polite and welcoming interviewers. 4 hours of onsite rounds covering Data Structures and Algorithms, System Design and Resume walkthrough. Pleasent folks and they do provide hints if required.

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at LiveRamp

      Interview

I applied online and they emailed me a coding test which I had to complete over two weeks. This was the hardest coding test I ever took in my job hunting journey. It was 2 hours 30 minutes long with the first session being 1 hour 30 minutes long and the second being 1 hour long. The first part basically have you design a data structure to solve a problem and provide your reasoning behind it. The next two questions are based on your first design and ask how would you modify it if the situation changes. The second part was actually implementing that data structure I discussed in the first part. Overall, very hard, but a good learning experience. I obviously failed miserably.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Both design and coding questions. It was a very specific situation addressing connectivity where you had to design a data structure to address this issue.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I'm sorry to hear that your interview experience with us was less than stellar. Our process is purposefully intensive to ensure we are hiring for the best fit - both for LiveRamp and the candidate.

      Software Engineer New Grad Interview

      Dec 1, 2018
      Anonymous employee
      San Francisco, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at LiveRamp (San Francisco, CA) in Nov 2018

      Interview

Started off with an online assessment with 4 parts. The first 3 were describing how you would implement the solution to a problem and discussing runtime and trade offs, and the final part was coding some of the solution you described. After passing that, I then had a 60 minute phone interview with an engineer. Talked a bit about a past project of mine, then spent the last 45 min solving a system design question together. The on-site consisted of 4 hour long whiteboard coding sessions and lunch with 2 engineers. The questions were fairly straightforward, with the usual mix of tree, hash table, etc questions. The interviewers gave hints pretty frequently, with an emphasis on how you took the hints over whether they needed to give you one. Overall, I found each interview to be a really pleasant, collaborative experience. Definitely the smoothest interview process I’ve been a part of.

Won’t say exact questions but they were Easy/Medium difficulty.
