    Negative Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Lutheran Senior Services (Saint Louis, MO) in June 2017.

    Interview

Phone interview first which went well. I was invited to a in person interview 3 days later. The day before my interview I was asked why wasn't I utilizing my BSN. I explained that I majored in Peds and recently loss a child and that mental I couldn't handle it. She stated her boss looked over my resume and said it didn't make sense that I wasn't using my degree. She then asked me to explain the times and dates that I went to school and the reason again why I didnt want to use my degree. I forgot to email her and got a email a hour before my interview advising that because I didn't email my reasonings they cancelled my interview. I advised her of all the information requested and I explained to her I was no longer interested in the position. Everyday people work jobs thats are not under their degree and its no big deal. I think it is extremely unprofessional the way they handled the whole process.

Once I declined further communication she sent me a email stating they went with a different candidate.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lutheran Senior Services.

    Interview

The first Interview went well, although there were two interviewers. It seemed as if I had the job. I was called back for a second interview which seemed ok. I was then asked for references, one of which being my current employer. I didn't feel comfortable with this request because I don't believe my current job would want to see me go considering I am the top earner and I work extremely hard. I received a call 2-3 days after my Interview requesting that I ask my GM to call back for the reference check. He did not do so and I assume I didn't get the job. I called a few days later and now they won't return my calls. Considering that I am still employed and never had a write up, that should be enough. I can not make my GM call you, I apologize. It would have been nice to get a return call.
