Easy Interview

Application

I applied through college or university. The process took a week. I interviewed at Lutron in November 2017.

Interview

Worst interview I have ever had, the interviewer barely spoke any English. She just kept asking me to implement fizzbuzz in different ways for 45 minutes. She was totally unable to communicate anything really, she spoke mostly in broken english.

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Lutron (Blacksburg, VA) in September 2017.

    Interview

I spoke with a recruiter at my schools career fair and was called afterwards for an on-campus interview the next day. I was interviewed by the engineer I spoke with at the career fair, as well as another engineer who called in over speakerphone. I used the interviewers laptop to code on a website where the other interviewer (phone) could also see what I was writing.

    Interview Questions

    • FizzBuzz but it was disguised as a different problem. I was asked to implement it, and then afterwards there were constraints added to the original problem. I was then asked if there was any other way to implement it, I did so recursively (iteratively the first time). I was finally asked to compare the pros and cons of the iterative implementation vs the recursive implementation.   Answer Question
