Application

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at MSI Inventory Service (Norcross, GA) in July 2012.

Interview

The application sits in the system for up to 90 days, and it takes a while for them to respond with an opening. Once you receive the phone call for the interview, you will be required to show up in a time slot. You cannot reschedule at your convenience based on the high amounts of interviewees. Their is a group interview with up to 3 other people. It is a general run down of the job and responsibilities. Then, they issue a math test to understand your counting skills needed for on-site inventories. That evening, you will get a phone call confirming the next time you must return for a follow-up. Paperwork and drug test papers are given. It jumps straight into training that is not paid for unless completed fully and correctly. The shirts are provided by the company, but pants, belt, and shoes are the employees responsibility.

Interview Questions

  • Are you willing to travel from as far west as Arkansas and as far north as North Carolina on a frequent basis?   1 Answer
  • Are you interested in driving the groups to and from job sites?   1 Answer

Reasons for Declining

The pay would be staggered on different times of the year. I needed a more stable job with steady pay checks.
