    Application

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Macquarie Group (Sydney (Australia)) in January 2017.

    Interview

The interview is okay. Nothing too technical. However, the whole process is not very organised, it took almost 2 months. It is a rotational role, so both shanghai and Sydney office interviewed me. Two HR interviewed me and they have a lot of overlapping questions. Despite the process is a bit long. the overall experience was good. They were quite professional

    Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Macquarie Group (Tokyo (Japan)) in July 2011.

    Interview

Will need to interview with 5 - 10 people most of whom will be your teammates or direct managers. More importantly, you will need to take their profiling examination, which is essentially and IQ test and you must score average (for your position) or better in each of the categories.

    Interview Questions

    • The examination is quite difficult, and you should definitely take a few of the practice exams to build up your speed in answering questions. You will not be able to finish some sections of the exam, but probably better to guess than to leave blanks (it's multiple choice).   Answer Question

    Negotiation

Since I was asking for a reasonable amount near the upper range for the negotiation phase, it only took a a week to get everything sorted out.
