    Application

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Marco's Pizza (Columbus, OH) in May 2015.

    Interview

It was an open interview. I got there right as they started. The manager was very nice. I researched the questions they ask and I answered some before she asked them. She said she liked me and I could come back for a simple test two hours from then. I also researched that test and knew what questions would on it. It's not simple. It's timed and that was the part I felt held me back some. She called me later that day and said I did well. I was scheduled to meet the district manager the following Monday at 10am. I got there at 9:56. The manager made some sour comment about being early but she was agitated that the district manager wasn't there yet. She got on the phone 15 minutes later and found out he had the time wrong and was 45 mins away. He told her to just go ahead and hire me. I rated it a negative experience because, while I believe you should do your best at any job you have, a pizza place not be giving out the PSAT to applicants. I am surprised many ppl make it since most people I know have some form of test anxiety. That part was bogus and the management totally drinks the koolaid on this one. Otherwise, it was a good experience as the people there are nice and they have the only pizza I like in town.
