Question 1
When did you run into a situation that did not go according to plan, and how did you resolve the issue?
I applied online. I interviewed at Medpace (Irving, TX)
Interview
I had a brief HR screen via team. It was set up very quickly which I appreciated. It took multiple weeks to get back to me asking to schedule something else in person. I indicated my availability and had to wait another 2-3 weeks just to get it scheduled. At the in person interview one interview ran over by ~10 minutes and multiple people were late or super early to their portions of the zoom interview. Overall, it was fine but I was definetly put off by the idea that I went there in person to meet with one person in person and 3 people via teams.
I applied online. I interviewed at Medpace (Cincinnati, OH) in Feb 2026
Interview
The whole process has taken around 1.5 months from application to accepting the offer itself.
I first interacted with the hiring team over a group interview call, where several candidates learned about the role itself in a Teams call. That call was extremely informative about the aCTM role & responsibilities withing the Medpace company structure. The call was then split into therapeutic area groups, where candidates were sorted by their area of expertise and were able to ask questions of the team lead. Again, extremely informative.
I reiterated my interest in the role via email to HR and was moved to the next round interview in a matter of two weeks, which was an invited in-person interview & panel presentation at their Cincinatti campus. Hotel and travel was reimbursed. I was provided a topic and asked to give a 10-15 minute presentation on solving a problem specific to clinical trials. The first part of the interview was behavioral, then I presented my deck, and finally there was a questions/answers round. At the end, HR came in and discussed benefits.
I received an offer within 10 days of completing the in-person interview. Overall, this was a very streamlined interview process.

Question 1
Tell us about a time that you had to handle a problem with a pharma client. How did you solve the problem and what was the outcome?
Just one round they asked some basic behavioral questions, and made an offer pretty fast. The pay was very little and work was a lot, and some managers are biased when it comes to assigning projects.
