Interview

They contacted me by phone one evening late (8pmish) on the day before the weekend started and automatically began the phone interview without asking really if I was free. She said after that she will call again. I got another call and then was emailed the details of the group interview. I was told to respond to confirm and the location was not provided but it would be at a hotel. After confirming by email I was called and told the location for the group interview. It consisted of presentations by 3 ppl, Q and A session, presentations of ourselves, and debates. Also a team activity,

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Meltwater (Sydney (Australia)) in November 2010.

    Interview

Interview process entailed a phone interview asking about my previous work history, interest in the company and the role as well as understanding of the industry. I was then invited to a group interview with 10 or so people, with a 3 person panel. We were asked to complete tasks such as group presentations, testing our team work and presenting individually on a topic of our choice, We were also asked to vote on who we would like as our manager from the group of interviewees. Was then invited to an individual interview with the same panel, where I was asked to simulate sales calls. They also asked very pervasive and challenging questions, and it was hard to tell whether the interview was a success, which ultimately it was. They also simulated management skills and gave feedback on all these.
