Several rounds of phone screens with 6 people followed by three sounds of in-person interviews with 6 people and the whole process took almost four months before an offer was extended

    I applied online. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at MetLife (New York, NY) in June 2011.

    Interview

    Had six interviews, two in person. I spoke with various levels of executives and in various parts of the organization, including communications, government affairs and in Europe. The executives were all very friendly though a few did push back.

    3 interviews. hr, 2 individuals with whom applicant would be working. hr interview appeared to be a weeding out process. subsequent were more substantive, but subject to individual personalities. Overall, felt process was subjective, but fair, given level of position.
