Longer than necessary -- more than 6 months from start to finish. Multiple interviews, round table style with people from all over the organization. One thought exercise. Not hard, just a long, unnecessarily drawn out process. It's indicative of the organization's MO. Only accepted the role due to the good benefits.
- What would you do to promote X,Y,Z idea? How do you work with a difficult person? How do you tell someone no? Other basic interview questions.

2 rounds, first round is generic questions with a panel, 2 nd round is more in depth with directors. Both are smooth and seamless, takes some time to get a reply but worth it.

Consisted of three panel interviews with a variety of Metro Transit and Met Council staff. One interview required preparing a 15 minute presentation. An opportunity to interview solely with the hiring manager wasn't provided. Negotiations were done through Human Resources.

I cant remember the interview questions in detail. Just remember the basic questions and you should be fine. If you are applying to become an officer, all interviews are pretty much the same.

Online application process - if you pass you move on Written common sense/customer service test - if you pass you move on Interview - if you pass Background check - don't leave out anything!!! - if you pass you Drug test & physical - if you pass will most likely be hired - there is such a huge shortage & because they are shady - it is hard for them to find people to apply. * getting an interview and offer is based on points you receive along the way, but they don't tell you how and where points lay-which makes it virtually impossible to figure out if you move on or not & doesn't allow for an outsider to track discrimination.
- typical interview questions

Filled out online application. Got a call from Human Resources for a phone interview and then was given a date to do an in-person interview. Got interviewed by 2 people at the same time in a conference room and was told that they had other interviews to do that day/week. I called a week after interviews were done and was notified that I was chosen for the job.
- Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Lengthy overall- Online application, assessment test, oral exam (interview), background check. The interview was the least stressful part of the process, friendly guy, straight forward speaking. I am now waiting for what happens after the background check, no definitive date of hire or classes starting. Wait for an opening. Please note: being placed on the eligible list does not guarantee employment as a Part-Time Bus Operator with the Metropolitan Council's Metro Transit Division. Any offer you may receive will be conditional upon passing a pre-employment physical and drug screening. If you are offered a position and turn it down, you will be removed from the eligible list.
- Twenty five questions or so, general behavioral questions about pat work experience. Similar to the assessment test behavior portion.

Applied online. Got the phone call as well as the email, arranged on-site interview and then just went to the company for interview. Just very standard process, nothing special. Good luck to you all.

1. HR screen via online application 2. phone interview with direct hiring manager & team member 3. usually only one round of interview for applying for internship 4. mostly very cheesy behavioral questions, usually the interviewer will let you know ahead of the time what the questions are, so one just needs to get prepared 5. generally pretty nice people 6. also HR will NEVER let you know if you didn't get in
