I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Monsanto Company (Saint Louis, MO) in November 2016.

    Interview

Recevied a request for a phone interview from HR a month after applying online. The phone screening took about 30 min and it was mainly about my resume and career goals. Hiring mangaer called me two weeks after that for a face to face interview. The interview was conducted by three panels, each panel composed of two people. more than 95% of questions were behavioral based and the rest were technical. To me it sounds that many of the questions were unrelated to the position that I've applied and many of the questions were repeated in every panel. And then after two months I had the result which was negative. I recommend before you go to interview gather information about the team and its dynamic. There are some teams that need someone to work (they need musle) and don't critize or question the status quo.

    Interview Questions

    • Tell me about a time when you forced to change your day-to-day activity in shadow of an organization change.

    Interview

I interviewed directly with the hiring manager. He mentioned that there were three other candidates being considered for the position. He spent the first 30 minutes telling me about the company and about the internship role. The interview was quite easy and pretty straightforward. In all honesty, I ended up asking more questions than the interviewer.

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Monsanto Company (Saint Louis, MO) in October 2016.

    Interview

Interview went well, classic intro. No technical questions unless asking specific to his team. Otherwise entirely behavioral, which I felt was rather guided towards me. This was great because it felt like a conversation. That being said- great overall experience.

The interview process took a little over a month; I was screened twice by two phone interviews (~20 min each), followed by an in-person interview, which lasted for 3 hours. Overall it was a positive experience because most of the interviewers were friendly and accommodating (a few were visibly bored or uninterested).

    Product Development Lead Interview

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Monsanto Company (Chesterfield, MO) in September 2016.

    Interview

The process was very unprofessional. There were 2 30 minute phone interviews with hr in which they didn't actually listen to interests or my current salary. Then there was a 5 hour on site interview in which 4 panels asked me literally the same questions 4 times it's like these guys don't communicate with each other at all. Then I was made an offer below my current package, I countered. They then made me reinterview with a vp level lead. After 2.5 weeks of no contact I was called and they said they were not going to offer more than the original offer and were going to go with other candidates and provided 0 negotiation or even feedback from the last interview. I've been in the industry for 10 years and have been in countless interviews and I have never experienced such a bad process.
