Application

The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Myriad Genetics.

Interview

Very impersonal and disrespectful interview process. I did not speak to a real person. I was simply sent an auto generated link to do a video interview. Five questions flashed up on the screen and I was recorded answering them. I was not able to ask questions about the position, or learn if it was something I was even interested in. I have no idea what it paid. I did not have anyone's information to even follow up. I was simply sent an auto generated email that I was not moving forward after my video interview . Disrespectful interview process and not the type of company I'd want to work for.

    Interview

Great tie to social media. I was able to locate the position via LinkedIn.
I was originally contacted from the hiring manager who talked to me about my background and experience. Next I met in person with the hiring manager and other leaders from Myriad. My last interview was with Area Director.

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Myriad Genetics (Atlanta, GA) in March 2008.

    Interview

The interview process was with area manager, a local counter part, regional manager, the VP of sales and of course human resources. There were about 5 interviews that spanned roughly 6 weeks. It was a very rigorous interview process, but thankfully never included round-robin interviews.

    Interview Questions

    • There were no unexpected questions. The most difficult part was that I was transitioning into the industry so proving my background.   1 Answer

    Negotiation

    I did not negotiate
