Interview

I received a phone call about a job fair and was invited. Went to the job fair where I learned it was a pre screening. Customer Service Representative Interview

    Negative Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at National General Insurance (Independence, MO) in September 2018.

    Interview

I got initial phone call to setup a phone interview at a later date. The phone interview lasted about 10 minutes and then I was offered an on-site interview. The phone hiring manager/recruiter was not organized at all or she must have been new because she kept fumbling when I asked her questions about the position. She kept telling me she would get back to me when she knew the answers to my questions. They will ask if you are licensed- if you are then you get paid more to start. The on-site interview was very laid back. I met with two managers and they explained the role responsibilities and asked behavioral questions.

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at National General Insurance (Winston-Salem, NC) in February 2019.

    Interview

Recruiter calls you get you all excited you go and see them at their building .
You take a test they ask you if that's really you from the assessment do you feel like that's who you are.???

Then they take you to a Room and then interview you and ask you how much you wanna make tell you a little bit about the company and take forever to get back to you to tell you that you're not the one that they are
    Looking for dye to aseessment.

Seriously ... you have top take the b aseessment there ... how does this happen and why do you have to go to step 3.??
there very hard to reach to follow backup with no one calls you back from the recruitment center until you find out.

I'm sorry but they lost a very good opportunity to have a valuable employer by their elementary ways of doing interviewing I was not impressed after the interview due to the long wait and no return phone calls or emails from the recruiter .

Good luck if you try and get on with this company

They should be happy though somebody is trying to make any money because they are trying to get people who don't wanna make money so they can keep it all for themselves I guess.

I guess when I told them I want to make a lot of money ?

    What's wrong with that?

Keep hitting no experience no go gets and see how that works for you .

A business not willing to hire experience.

It is an experience and wait I wished i had listened to others and passed on .

I then spoke with the HR rep and was hired on the spot. I was then required to take a drug test before my training began.

There really was no negotiation, they gave me a pay amount and asked if I wanted to accept. I was desperate with a new baby and accepted. I look forward to leaving this terrible place and never coming back.
