    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Nissan North America in August 2015.

    Interview

Applied online, 2 people called me in for an interview. That was a red flag - they hadn't communicated to each other that someone had already called. Showed up to the interview, my interviewer was in a meeting... So why schedule me for that time if busy? Had an interview with someone else, a man who kept looking at my chest.. Near the end of the interview, the original person I talked to popped in and gave me a completely different job description. Red flags went up everywhere. They wanted me to come in for a second interview, but I withdrew my resume a week later, explaining that they seemed disorganized and risky to take a chance on. The manager begged me to reconsider and I knew right there that they were planning on giving me an offer. It would have been nice if they treated their potential work with respect and consideration, but I'm glad they didn't - I think I dodged a bullet.

Generally, an hour is reserved you are to meet with 3 to 5 supervisors for that department at a round table setting, and it is standard interview process behavioral or situation questions using the STAR (Situration, Task, Action, Response) method.

    Interview Questions

    • My background in customer service on my resume from start to present, a series of situation questions involving irate customer request, difficult situations how to overcome them, and why I was leaving my current position. Then just general questions. Not a very difficult interview, standard really.   1 Answer

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Nissan North America (Franklin, TN) in January 2015.

    Interview

Email and called, set up phone interview. HR person did not call at time that was confirmed, I called her and it went to voice mail. She finally called back and said she was in a meeting ad sorry for not calling on time. Interview started with her asking salary requirements, they were clearly spelled out in my application, once sated was told that my requirements were above pay grade of 97K. Felt like the HR girl was very unprofessional by not reading my application before setting up the interview and by not calling on time. Was told my qualifications were outstanding but the pay was not there. Said I would be considered for future position. I do not expect a call back.
