    Product Manager Interview

    Anonymous Employee in Berlin (Germany)
    Accepted Offer
    Negative Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied through other source. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Nokia (Berlin (Germany)) in June 2014.

    Interview

A full day of interviews with no real coordination between interviewers. I was asked the same questions 3 or 4 times. It seemed quite pointless and I didn't think wasting the time of all these employees was necessary. This could have easily been just with one at most two people who would work directly with me rather than the six people I met with.

I was asked to do a task and present it via Skype after 1 week. then finally was invited on site for a full day of interviews (6).
The process was quite long, but people were quite nice and casual.

    Interview

Applied Online. Process started with the phone conversation with the hiring manager which took more than 45 minutes. That call was mainly on resume. Secondly, an assignment that supposed to be done in 1 hour was sent. It was a design question of a object oriented design with C++. After this two phases, I was invited to on-site. There were five interview rounds. First was with hiring manager. General knowledge on mobile devices was checked. Second interviewer checked the initially given assignment, after asked to enhance the initial design. Third interview was with lead architect. He asked for a application design for mobile phones. Fourth round was with two interviewers in which I totally failed. The fourth interviewer had some issues with my nationality.

    Frontend Developer Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Berlin (Germany)
    No Offer
    Positive Experience
    Difficult Interview

    Application

The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Nokia (Berlin (Germany)) in June 2010.

    Interview

Mostly the interviewers were super-friendly and extremely relaxed. Also the manager people I talked to were really professional and relaxed. It seemed like a good company to work at. Downsides were the heavy math questions, if you thought Google interviews were tough, think again! Then there were IQ puzzles, and writing code on a chartboard 10 hours long with different interviewers. A few of them seemed a bit too nerdy and too cocky for my taste. By the time they asked me to iterate in 4 lines through a matrix I knew I blew it. Another downside was, that half of the people I was scheduled to talk with, did not show up and they made me wait 1,5 hours for my first interview. Overall a good impression of a firm that sells wiretapping software to Iran to infiltrate Iranian Twitter and Facebook Users. Sorry had to be said.

    Duales Studium Wirtschaftsingenieurswesen Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Stuttgart (Germany)
    Declined Offer
    Negative Experience
    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Nokia (Stuttgart (Germany)) in March 2017.

    Interview

      - was macht Nokia so attraktiv (außer Internationalität und gute Ausbildungsmöglichkeiten)
      - welche Produkte stellt Nokia her
      - wie würde ich meiner Oma erklären, was Nokia macht
      - was fiel mir schwer in der Schule

    Accepted Offer
    Positive Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Nokia (Ratingen (Germany)).

    Interview
