For the interview process, I sat down and interviewed with two different individuals. Both were looking for another child welfare specialist for their team. They interviewed me at the same time, and then I was taken to a room to do a writing assessment. The writing assessment is to make sure that you are able to write documents well and also gets a good understanding of how you think and view child safety.
- Tell me about yourself. What would you do if ________. Describe how you handle conflict with your boss or other team members.

Basic scenario based questions, Very unprofessional. 2 people on panel via Zoom. One interviewer did the IV with his cat crawling all over him( his lap, around his neck and head). Every interview I’ve done since they telework has been this same caliber. Makes me curious who these morons even hire when they conduct business this way. This location was Lawton CPS. Since they no longer use OMES, the process is completely inconsistent and discriminatory now. It’s gone back to who you know and the turnover is horrendous.
- All basic scenario questions, which are just ineffective measuring tools.
