Interview
Multiple 30-minute interviews by phone with a variety of stakeholders: hiring manager, peers, related departments. Typical behavior based and situational. Appeared to prefer Big 4 and large IT experience. Scheduled quickly.

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at OutSystems (Atlanta, GA) in March 2018.
Interview
The recruiter was pleasant enough but the communication was really poor. Made it to a manager interview, held over video despite being in the same city. She was excited about my experience and then went radio silent. Nobody ever wrote to tell me I was no longer under consideration.

Interview
Very thorough interview process with OutSystems employees. I was impressed with the due diligence conducted prior to my interviews. Additionally, very appropriate questions were asked throughout the process pertaining to my experience and to that of the opportunity. Most importantly, I felt the OutSystems employees were genuine and very passionate about the company.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at OutSystems (Boston, MA) in December 2018.
Interview
The interview process started with having an initial call with the Talent Acquisition Director which provided an overview of the role and assessed to see if I was a good fit for the role to continue on to interview with the team and other business partners. I then had a great conversations with about 4 other individuals which primarily took place by video and I had the pleasure to visit onsite for another interview where I was able to get a feel for the work space and meet a few OutSystems employees.

Application
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at OutSystems in November 2019.
Interview
1) Recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn; 2) Had phone screen with recruiter; 3) Had phone interview with hiring manager; 4) Was asked to give presentation to hiring manager and others on the product management team*
*This is where things went downhill. The team's request was for me to put together a presentation that, when all aspects were accounted for, probably would have taken me roughly 12 hours to complete. This very much felt like overkill and, in my estimation, is a sign of what things probably would have been like working for Outsystems. My gut told me to withdraw my application for the role and that is what I did. Happy to have made that decision.
Application
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at OutSystems (Boston, MA) in July 2019.
Interview
It had several phases. In summary:
1) I talked with HR people that helped me understanding the company and how I would fit in terms of my responsibilities, culture, etc
2) I talked with my future team leader to understand the challenge
3) I talked with peers and experts to be technically tested in my knowledge
All interviews were needed in both ways, to improve the knowledge between parties. People that I talked with were super friendly.

I've held positions at other similar companies, but the collaborative culture is simply the best. The product is amazing, and you can see that just from other product and analyst sites, but beyond that, the people working behind the scenes really are what makes the product and company what it is today. The company is showing tremendous growth, but even during a time of growth, they continue to push innovative boundaries, offering an open minded culture where innovation comes first. Everyone that I've encountered is polite and courteous, and always willing to offer a helping hand. After all, we're all on the same ship.” – Full Review
