You record yourself doing a typical trial class, pretending there is a student on the other end of your device. They give you everything you should say, and there are plenty of YouTube videos describing what you should do. It is quite easy if you prepare using their Teacher Guide and YouTube videos. But you do need to prepare.
- It is a mock class, not a question & answer interview.

Quick 25 min demo (lots of examples on YouTube) can see slides before so you can practise. No child in the class so teaching to yourself, have to use props and TPR and use their star reward system. Then wait upto two days for them to get back to you
- What do you have in your classroom? Why do you want to work for us?

The interviewing process was fairly simple. You download the app because you have to teach from a device like phone or tablet. Fill out your profile (add experience, education, etc.). Make sure you have documentation (photos or screenshots) to support the education and certifications you list. You then schedule an interview time. The interview consist of doing a 15-20 minute demo for a pretend student. You are told that it will be 2 days before results are sent. I was informed in less than 24 hours I would not be extended an offer. I had read many comments on Facebook about this company’s racist practices and I can say it is true. I was informed that I was unprepared and didn’t use enough body language. This is far from true. When I brought the racist practices to their attention Palfish didn’t even attempt to deny the fact I wasn’t offered a contract due to race. The truth is I’m a person of color and Palfish discriminates. Don’t waste your time if you’re not the race they are looking to hire.
- How do you explain circling to a student who doesn’t understand English?

When I did the interview process it was a mock trial class to one of the staff. I went through about 10 minutes of instruction with the staff member, pretending she was a 5 year old student. It was important to speak clearly and smile. Later on I heard they no longer had someone sit with you and that they just recorded the mock trial and watched it later.
- There were no questions just the mock trial class.
