Application

I applied in-person. The process took a week. I interviewed at Panera Bread.

Interview

I was called in the day after applying for the interview (they were taking new hires for a new store that was going to open in a nearby mall). They asked fairly simple questions about customer service and I was hired on the spot. I came in the following Wednesday morning for orientation and my training began the week after that.

    Interview

I was interviewed by the district manager, and it was very laid back. I did not feel a touch of anxiety, and she made to confrontation comfortable. She asked around seven questions, and all of them were generic interview questions.

Two interviews - one with a shift manager and another with the general manager. They were both very easy interviews. The questions were mostly about my previous work experience and why I wanted to work for Panera, and my availability.

    Application

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Panera Bread (Baton Rouge, LA) in May 2016.

    Interview

Within about 3 days of applying, I was called to schedule an interview on the next day. I walked in about 15 minutes before the scheduled interview and the manager came right out to meet me and took me into the dining area to interview. The interview process was short and sweet, he read about 6 questions off of a sheet of paper and wrote my responses. After about 10 minutes of this process, we stood up and he offered me the job and we set up orientation for 3 days later. My tips would be to dress professional, and walk in there with confidence. Show your personality, do not be nervous, and eye contact.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Panera Bread (Raleigh, NC).

    Interview

Called up the manager to ask if they had gone over my application. They had not, but after looking over it I was asked to come in for an interview. Very casual and friendly. Talked about the position, past experiences, school, and hobbies. I was a little overdressed, whereas the manager was just in a button-down shirt and jeans (which is fine as a uniform there). Talked right in the dining area. After that, a standard background check and making sure my application was uploaded correctly. No drug screening.

    Interview Questions

    • Standard interview questions about past experiences and school. Asked personal questions about hobbies and future plans. Very friendly and casual, just show that you are a serious employee and you intend to work.   Answer Question

    Interview

It was simple. I had went in for an interview when I was 15, but they told me to return when I was 16.My recent intevew was with the same lady who interviewd me the first time, but had to turn me away due to my age. There were two interviews in the whole process. One with the hiring manager, then the second one with the general manager. Overall the questions I recieved were on availableity and work ethic. Nothing too complicated. It was an easy interview.
