    Field Service Technician Interview

    Anonymous Employee in Wilmington, MA
    Accepted Offer
    Negative Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at Patterson Dental (Wilmington, MA).

    Interview

Interview went well. If you have previous service work you"ll be fine. What they say they're looking for actually isn't. They're looking for people they can work into the ground because the qualified ones go to the competitors for a much bigger salary. I feel bad for the old timers at this place, they're undervalued, overworked and out on injury very often.

    Interview Questions

    • How do you reverse the direction of a 3 phase motor   1 Answer

    Negotiation

You're not going to get much more than $20 an hour. People that were lead techs there for 10 years only made about $23-25

    Sales Interview

    Anonymous Interview Candidate
    No Offer
    Negative Experience

    Interview

The phone interview was very basic. Simply asked my sales experience. When I was offered a face to face interview I accepted. The office was empty and I stood in the lobby it took a good 5 minutes to get someone's attention. They sat me down for a good 15 minutes past my appointment time.

At this point I began having second thoughts. If they can't respect my time the will not likely respect me as an employee. An angry inconvenienced lady belligerently came down and led into a room to take a series of test that were completely unrelated to my title.

During this time I was eye balled by some ladies in which made me feel very uncomfortable. At that point I randomly pressed keys to finish and get out.

Not a good environment and seemed very negative.

    Customer Service Representative Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Effingham, IL
    No Offer
    Negative Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Patterson Dental (Effingham, IL) in March 2016.

    Interview

The women that interviewed me were rude and condescending. They seemed to be looking me up and down in an insecure way. I am more than qualified for the position and gave a good interview. These women had no reason to treat me that way. I'm convinced it was a display of women being catty.
