I applied online. The process took 4+ months. I interviewed at Patterson Dental (Atlanta, GA) in April 2011.

    Interview

Two interviews, offered job after the second interview. Did a skills assessment in before the first interview. It was a doozy!! Most people did not pass it because of the math part. It was like taking an SAT test with word problems, etc. It took a loooong time in between interviews and the offer.

    Negotiation

The branch manager was somewhat flexible and did take experience into account.

    Field Service Technician Interview

    Anonymous Employee in Wilmington, MA
    Accepted Offer
    Negative Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at Patterson Dental (Wilmington, MA).

    Interview

Interview went well. If you have previous service work you"ll be fine. What they say they're looking for actually isn't. They're looking for people they can work into the ground because the qualified ones go to the competitors for a much bigger salary. I feel bad for the old timers at this place, they're undervalued, overworked and out on injury very often.

    Interview Questions

    • How do you reverse the direction of a 3 phase motor   1 Answer

    Negotiation

You're not going to get much more than $20 an hour. People that were lead techs there for 10 years only made about $23-25
