I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Peloton Interactive (New York, NY) in Sep 2019
Interview
Interview process was standard. 1 tech screen, 1 manager call and the 6 onsite interviews.
They also had an add on interview after onsite as one of their engineers couldn't make it for the onsite.
The problem started during negotiation. They offered but won't pay relocation. when i asked for relocation, they rescinded the offer.
It's good this happened before joining. It would have been really bad if i had moved coast to coast and then would have found of this toxic culture of being punished to voice your opinion.

Interview
Was asked a simple coding question. Was not on that day and wasn't able to nail the question. Never-the-less, I got 98% of the solution but was tripped up on a single test case with an off-by-one error I ran out of time trying to debug.

Interview
TLDR - Interview questions were average difficulty. Interview process was chaotic and left a bad impression of how the company operates.
Applied online. Had a pleasant experience with the phone screen. Onsite was a different story. The process was pretty chaotic. It was clear when I spoke to interviewers that they had no interest in me as a candidate but were there to do this interview as a formality. Also the schedule and calendar invites that I received were not correct so I showed up in zooms that had no interviewers and in one case showed up at the wrong time.

Interview
Recruiter interview: Typical recruiter screening interview. Technical Screening: A data structures type question tech screen Onsite: 4 onsite interviews (data structures, sys design, data modeling, behavioral). Overall the interview process was really great. They allow you to lookup syntax/documentation on Google in the coding questions. The system design and data modeling questions were open ended and they weren't looking for an exact match to their solution.
