Interview
The hiring process for this position took approximately 3.5 weeks, during which time I had 6 interviews. Each interview was about 40-45 minutes- 1.5 hrs with a different member of the team and all but one interaction was via Skype. Everyone was extremely friendly and passionate about the company. Although I did not receive a final offer, I can say I did have an overall positive experience communicating with the company. Follow-up was very prompt, and they were for the most part transparent about their hiring process. My last and final interview was in-person and in their newly launched city co-working space. I got to meet in person some of the team and was able to sit-in on a courier session. Overall Postmates was a pleasant interview experience, despite the disappointing outcome.

Question 1
The most difficult questions were situational, for instance, "what would you do/how would you respond to a complaint that a courier did XYZ while on a job?" "What would your course of action be, and how would you communicate with them?"
It is a complete disorder. I did my first interview and then they never came back with a follow up of my results. Basically, i never had a positive or negative answer. I think they forgot my candidacy.

Interview
The interview process was well organized and follow up was prompt. I interviewed with several people from the team over the course of 3 weeks including two of the co-founders. I was kept in the loop at each step in the process and all my questions were answered in detail. The interviews were pleasant, informative and challenging.

The most difficult portion of the interview process was being asked what my plan for the market would be. If you are not well prepared, have not researched the company business model and mission, and given some thought as to how you would tackle the challenges facing the postion you will not get far.
