I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Primerica in July 2016.
Interview
I didn't feel like it was an interview. I felt like it was a sales pitch disguised as an interview. Initially when I got the call and accepted the interview, I was told it was not a sales position. Surprise, that's exactly what it was. I'm not sure what I had expected. We spent a brief 5 minutes discussing my background and the rest of the time was the recruiter explaining their services to me. He went into great detail at each step and told me that this is how he sells this stuff to customers. So in other words, I spent 2 hours listening to a sales pitch. He made sure I understood why their services are top notch. I honestly felt like a customer the entire time. Even the resume and suit jacket didn't make it feel like an interview. This is a pyramid scheme nonetheless. They might try to justify this to you too by showing you how every company is actually a pyramid scheme based on your knowledge of what it is. I was very ready to go 30 minutes into it. As we were leaving, the director of the location caught up with us and talked an additional 30 minutes about nothing in particular. I also needed to use the restroom but decided against it in case they decided to talk to me for another minute since they escort their guests out the door. As you can tell, I was very fed up with them at that point. When I received a follow up call from the same recruiter the next week, I declined the position and what happened? I got the whole "Are you interested in any of our products as a customer?" and "So you don't want to help you and your family save $xxxxx with our free analysis?" No thanks.

Reasons for Declining
I felt like they were way more interested in selling their products to me than actually having me work with them.

She than said that i need to commit to train which i thought meant she wanted me to be there NO that was not the case. She wAnted me to pay 480 something dollars right than and there not this was not mentioned to me i wad told 99 dollars and they pay the rest so i didnt come prepared with that much on me. She than pulls out a square for her phone and asked again for the money. This really upset me so i got up anf walked out. I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Primerica (Duluth, GA) in November 2015.
Interview
Very Detailed process that was time sensitive, you had to get 5 previous managers to fill out surveys related to your job performance done in 1 week. You will have to go take a drug test, and pass the background check.
Interview Questions
Negotiation
There wasn't really much of a negotiation, they offered the position with their pay rate. It's up to you to take the job or not.
Application
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Primerica (Duluth, GA) in March 2012.
Interview
It was a standard interview where you had a computer running random questions in HR. It was a standard personality test along with a simulation of situations with how you would be likely to respond. The second portion was a 1:1 with me and two different supervisors and fielding questions about my work history and why would I want to work for the company as well as relevant skills
Interview Questions
Negotiation
There wasn't much of a negotiation. They did give an offer letter but at least for customer service the rate was fair. If you are going to another department however I would advise to do your research as to what other companies pay for the same type of position and argue your case along with that. What I have found is that the position responsibilities aren't often a reflection of what you end up actually doing. In a sense you can try it with some success if you can defend why you're requesting that amount.

The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Primerica (Orlando, FL) in September 2011.
Interview
An acquaintance gave me the phone number of an agent in the 32804 zip code that was looking for people to work. I called the phone number and I received a phone call the day after. She said that if i was able to meet her that night at 7 pm. I ended up going to their place a couple of days later. I was given a form to fill. What struck me is that they were asking me for marital status and if I had kids. At the bottom of the page they wanted 5 references and they were asking if they were married, owned a home or had kids. Ok, if you need a background reference you do not need that additional information. i stated i would give my references after they offer me a job. They did not like that and showed me the door. I told the person I always give references after acceptance of the position. I did not want people to be called if I am not being considered. The receptionist told me that they do not do it that way there and showed me door. Avoid like the plague. It is a 100 percent commission based job regardless of what they say.

Meet with a representative from the company and talk about the business and the process of getting hired in, and how one engrosses income. The interviewer was extremely rude when I said I had to think about the job. As soon as I basically said I wasn't interested, he immediately shot up out of his chair and said, "Ok have a good day," and sent me off.
