Publix Bagger/Cashier Interview Questions

it was easy and got an offer. very nice and professional interview. I think the pay offer was generous but I had another job offer that I took instead of that one.

It was very calm and stress free and I got accepted the same day as the interview, they just ask you the basic questions and the employer was very nice.

great - learned a lot about customer service. outstanding work environment. first rate company. quality employees / coworkers. can't say enough positive remarks about Publix. it's a great place for a young person looking for that 1st job.

Brief and incredibly welcoming, the Publix organization continues to show what they're all about even through the interviewing process. They responded to me very well and it never felt like I was being talked down to, it was an overwhelmingly positive experience.

I was called by one of the store managers and told to come in the next day at 1pm. When I got there, I was taken to the break room to wait. Both the manager who spoke with me on the phone and another manager interviewed me. We mostly went through my application, they didn't even ask for my resume (which I brought), presumably because all the info they needed was on the application -- it's good for your optics anyways. I was originally supposed to interview for bagger, but since I had a lot of experience with cashiering, I was offered to be a cashier. It was one of the best interviews I have ever had. I was hired on the spot. Look presentable, be confident, and express how much you want to deliver "premium customer service". If you have cashiering, grocer, bagging, or customer service experience, you'll get the job.

The interview process was really good everything went really well and I enjoy the mangers everyone was really nice to me and kind. I enjoy being there at for the time being

It was a good experience overall that ask me basic questions that all jobs ask and I thought that the questions were going to be challenging but they were easy and basic

They gave me a call and set up the appointment. I arrived, they asked me some questions and I got a call in about two weeks saying they'd love to have me!!

I filled out my request form via the machine inside the store. They got back to me within a week and asked for an interview. I got one set up within the week to my convenience. The day of my interview, however, nobody knew who called me for the interview, and they took me in thirty minutes later than scheduled. It wasn't a big deal because the rest of the interview was great. I went into one room and talked to the customer service manager for a little while. He was straightforward and light-hearted. He asked me general personality questions and about my prior experience (little to none). After that, he took me into a separate room, asked me how much I would work for, and offered me the position. About five minutes later I was brought into the prior office with another store manager. In that room, I was given my drug test and filled out my forms. The whole process took about an hour. I was kindly asked if I could remove my nose rings and wear only stud earrings once I started my job.
