The interview process was shorter than the alotted time and the questions seemed largely unrelated to risk management as it seemed they were looking for a DBA rather than a risk manager. Incorrect job title in my opinion. The interviewer also seemed to be pulling ideas from me rather than check my abilities as he kept asking what we did in my previous company. He was also new in his role (6 or so months) so it just seemed odd why he would keep asking the same types of questions. I kept on getting the feeling he was trying to build a team from the ideas he gets from the interviews. The few risk control questions he asked was relevant. I was also told that this would first be a culture interview to see if I would fit in but the only questions I got were technical in nature.
