I applied through an external recruiter.
First round was a discussion with HM and an engineer, covering many tech aspects in the job description, heavily focused on Kubernetes. I was able to answer all the questions with no difficulty at all. There was also a live coding assessment in a leetcode-style, easy to do.
Second round was a take home practical test that involved deploying an app in Kubernetes and explaining all the steps. This was pretty easy for someone very familiar with k8s.
The third round was supposed to be a presentation of a piece of work (or personal project) to a panel of engineers. They said they were very interested in proceeding, but eventually started to slow-down communications, never replying to my emails, even after chasing them multiple times.
Despite all the comprehensive answers I provided in the interview and the practical test (explaining in many details everything I did), they eventually said I did not have enough experience for the role and my salary expectations was for a higher level (even though it was within their range). A total joke, to say the least. Sounds like they were only interested in someone cheap to hire for a senior position.
