    Average Interview

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at REC Solar (Scottsdale, AZ) in February 2014.

    Interview

I submitted my resume online. They called me and set up a phone interview. The phone interview was done conference with 2 interviewers. They asked some pretty basic questions about my past experiences in sales, how my non sales jobs would benefit my working in sales, and questions about integrity.

    Interview Questions

    • The only question I found odd and unexpected was, "What am I grateful for?"   1 Answer

    Negotiation

I was happy with the wage offered. Did not see a need to negotiate this pay. It is well above the standard found in other companies.

    Order Manager Interview

Anonymous Employee in San Luis Obispo, CA
    Accepted Offer
    Neutral Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at REC Solar (San Luis Obispo, CA) in June 2013.

    Interview

Interview process was very muddled and untraditional. I was asked to come in and 'chat' with them about job possibilities. I talked to four different people and then 'chatted' with the department manager for maybe 10 minutes who then hired me later.

    Interview Questions

    • Interview process was odd. I was prepared for more challenging, probing questions but there never were any of those questions. I have hired and trained people in my career and REC is very weak in this area. It seems that their interview process needs a major tune-up. This may reduce their high turn-over.   Answer Question

    Negotiation

    Blase
