Huge waste of time..
I was invited to an initial quick call to discuss the role which instead turned out to be a 1 hour in-depth video interview on technical skills run by an HR intern. I've also been asked to present a full analysis of the company marketing campaigns via newsletters etc during the interview. The interviewer gave a personal introduction and talked about past experiences which were school projects and spent absolute 0 time to tell more about the company or the role, I had a few minutes at the end to ask 2 questions.
Got loads of questions about technical stuff not related to the role and there was no professional interaction probably due to a lack of understanding on the matter on the other side, in fact after saying one thing I was asked a question and had to answer repeating the same thing. Most of the times I couldn't even talk because the interviewer kept blocking me saying I didn't let finish the question - extremely awkward and arrogant behaviour constantly praising the ideal candidate, the team and the company. Not inspiring at all.
I got an automatic email saying my profile doesn't match, after 1 hour interview! This means the hiring manager never even checked my profile before I got invited to interview. Companies should stop doing that because to me this meant wasting one hour of my time talking to a stranger. Quite sad to read similar cases reported here.
Glad I won't proceed in the following 5 or 6 steps of their endless hiring process.
