Interviews at Reward

Anonymous Interview Candidate
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Reward in Nov 2021
I called the recruiter about the role to find out more about the process. Hearing about my own experience and skills he said he thought the Marketing Director would be interested and sent my CV across. Not long after, I was asked to have a 30 min interview with the Marketing Director. This went well, and then I was asked to come back for a 'final' interview, where I would present back a task to the Marketing Director and the UK MD. The UK MD didn't show up for the interview, but the Head of CRM did. We had an hour - I presented for 15-20mins, and then answered questions for the remaining time. What I found incredibly frustrating was that after this point, I had to repeatedly try to get in touch with the recruiter over the following 2-3 weeks to get any feedback or information on whether or not a decision had been reached or what was happening with the process. I heard "I'll get some news or feedback for you today" at least three times... For a relatively senior position where I'd reached the 'final stage' and been asked to complete a task and present as part of the process, I felt that being ignored with zero information in the aftermath lacked professionalism and respect for my time, and the experience left me with a poor image of the company. In addition - the feedback (eventually) was that while we'd got on really well, the Marketing Director felt that she was looking for someone with more experience. This is completely valid, but also something that could have been determined from my CV rather than decided weeks after final interview and task stage... All in all, while everyone I spoke to seemed very nice, I was very disappointed with the way the process was handled.
