Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Robert Half (San Ramon, CA).

It was pretty easy, I went in at the Fremont branch, they definitely asked about every point on my resume and wanted specific details about it. Also it is located right by the Bart station so it's a really convenient location to work.

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Robert Half.

    Interview

Relatively quick process as it should be for staffing firm, that's all about rushing the process for deals...phone screen,,,couple face to face...but internal politics strung out the process...all in all not bad...typical of staffing firms

If you have a pulse and are decently attractive they will hire you. Like it's that simple. Most people have zero recruiting experience. You meet with you boss and their boss. The whole thing took 10 minutes.

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Robert Half (Pleasanton, CA) in June 2016.

    Interview

Terrible interview process and not a good group of people to work with. I was brought in multiple times for a "1.5 hour long interview" that ended up being over 3 hours each time! They had me sit in on phone calls that had no relevance to a regular interview process. Every person I met with seemed to be challenging me on why I was interviewing for this position as if I wasn't good enough for it. After wasting my time for each interview I expected to at least get an offer or a good explanation of why I did not get one. They emailed me a week after the process to tell me that "they will continue to pursue other candidates". When I asked for feedback on what went wrong they stopped responding. Extremely unprofessional and one of the worst places I've ever interviewed in my life.

Got a phone screen. My interviewer seemed like he didn't sleep from an all night bender. Ask me stupid questions that didn't matter for the job. Smelled like he was smoking before the interview

    Interview

I had a two phone interviews and a skype interview. First i had a phone interview with a recruiter where he just asked simple questions to get to know me, then a couple weeks later had a Skype interview with the same recruiter. After that i got a call from the floor manager and was pretty much the same questions as the first two. Very casual interviews
