Roblox Software Engineer New Grad Interview Questions

Interview was composed of two 30 min behavioral sections and two 45 min. The two technical questions weren't impossible. The first was pretty difficult but one I had seen on Leetcode as a medium before, and the second was one I hadn't seen but was fairly straightforward. One of my interviewers wasn't too verbal during the interview, but the other was pretty good about talking to me and answering questions. Behaviorals were very as well straightforward, no curveballs.

The interview process consisted of an OA and then a 4 hr final round. The OA is CodeSignal + 2 simulations they make you do. They do factor in performance on the simulations quite a lot, since the year prior I got a perfect score on CodeSignal but bombed the simulations, and was not invited to the final rounds. There were four final round interviews (2 technical and 2 behavioral). Neither of the technical questions were really difficult, but the interviewer for one of them seemed to have a very set idea of how the problem should be approached. He got increasingly frustrated when I proposed solutions that were the same runtime complexity but not his solution.

2 online assessments (code signal and cognitive skills test). They got back to me a few days after the OA to schedule a virtual onsite that was a month out in advance.

It was an online assessment with a coding stage on Code Signal and two cognitive test stages which were games on Roblox. Next stages will be live interviews with engineers.

They sent some logic games that I played via Roblox. The onsite was fairly simple as far as technical questions. It was a little disorganized, the second interviewer tried to give me the same question. The recruiters were helpful in answering my questions.

Required Codesignal general assessment that has 4 leetcode style problems with 1 easy 2 mediums and 1 hard for 70 minutes, Roblox online assessment with two parts and none of them are leetcode style problems.
