I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Rover.com (Seattle, WA) in Oct 2017
Interview
There were 3 steps to the interview. The first was a standard technical phone interview. where we worked through a coding problem. The second was a take home project. The project was a bit time consuming, but didn't feel too extreme. The third step was an on-site interview. The on-site interview consisted of an hour of whiteboarding design, an hour of working on the previously submitted project and then a third hour talking more about the business and was more about fit.
I think since the on-site interview was shorter than a typical on-site, the coding project isn't too bad. In fact, I liked the fact that I could work on the project in a comfortable environment instead of trying to whiteboard solutions to obscure problems for a whole day.
