    Interview

The interview experience was very discouraging. The process took much longer than it should have. The talent acquisition contact I was working with was not pro-active. I would have to continuously leave messages without a callback. Due to nepotism, there was also difficulty with the hiring process. Once I finally started, it was hard to be excited to begin work.

the interview process entailed many questions from various leads to ensure that I would be able to multi task and assist for as this office tends to get extremely busy. There are also times when there are such lulls that I needed to take on tasks from different individuals that could be very mundane and tedious.

    Acquisition Integration Project Manager Interview

Anonymous Employee in Ban Som Phone (Laos)
    Accepted Offer
    Negative Experience
    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ryan, LLC (Ban Som Phone (Laos)) in February 2015.

    Interview

First contact is made by HR. The staff is very friend, thorough and professional. They ask appropriate questions regarding your history, methods, and applicable experience. Specifically, they will as you to describe your background with integration, what type of business, your role, and a brief description of how you handle integration.

If all goes well, you will be asked to schedule a second interview by phone. This is where the interview process gets shaky. I was interviewed by a future equal who asked about my experience, commented that he wanted to make the questions about me, then turned and spent the next 30 minutes talking about himself.

During the following 30 minutes or so, he rarely allowed me to speak so I just let him continue. The final five minutes was spent with my attempt to seemingly defend myself through an abrasive line of circular questioning that ultimately led nowhere.

I received feedback from an email I sent to HR. They said the college commented that I was more qualified for a higher position with Mergers and Acquisitions than integration. This was confusing because we didn't cover much of the actual job during the interview. Needles to say, I accepted a position elsewhere. If fear is the way they lead an interview, this is not how I want so operate within my day to day at work.

They are still looking for a candidate.

    • What is integration and how would you set up an integration project?   Answer Question

    Tax Consultant Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Dallas, TX
    No Offer
    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ryan, LLC (Dallas, TX).

    Interview

For me, the interviewer started off by describing the duty and responsibility of the position I applied for. He then asked about my background both in school and out school in that specific field. After he finished main points, he then went through my resume. This is phone interview, and it's just about 30 minutes.

    Interview Questions

    • The interviewer did not actually ask me deeply in technical questions. Instead, he asked me in overall of what I have learned in this/that subject which will be used in the position I applied for. I think this is the main and most important question you should be best prepared to present yourself.   Answer Question
