I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at S&P Global (London, England) in Jan 2010
Interview
Platts (McGraw-Hill) hiring is protracted and arduous. All the while it is managed by the inept and indifferent if not outright deceitful human resources department.
They have several interviews and may lead you on in the belief that it''s almost over. Finally after they settle on hiring you they will take a further 3 to 4 weeks in performing background checks.
4 rounds of interviews moved and it moved pretty quickly until it was time to give an offer after the final round. I had to follow up to see if a decision was made, I was not notified sooner that I did not get the role
I applied online. I interviewed at S&P Global (New York, NY)
Interview
It was disjointed, delayed and full of bad communication. I felt like they had no coordination in their discussions with me and I wasn't valued. Wouldn't recommend the process at all.
