    Interview

I applied online and was given the opportunity to have a phone interview with two people in San Francisco. The interview was almost entirely technical, and the questions were things that I did not know off the top of my head. They said I should hear back in November for a possible invite to their Super Day.

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at S&P Global Ratings in January 2008.

    Interview

Recruiter contacted me after placing job specification and curriculum vitae on a jobs website. Soon after meeting with the recruiter for a coffee, she contacted me about a job at Standard and Poor's. I met initially with a director within the company and then met with the two managing directors who i would ultimately work for. Both interviews were about half an hour long and I hot the call after my second interview (a day later) that I had got the job. The hardest part of the interview process was waiting for my contract from their HR so I could hand in my resignation. Their HR system is not the most efficient.
