I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SailPoint Technologies
Interview
The SailPoint software developer interview process involves HR screening, coding challenges, and a final interview with HM. The process is unlawful and nauseating. The HR is very unprofessional. What they say is a lie, and it may be nothing like what you say, and nothing like what it actually is. Pay special attention to their hr, one moment they say they have an interview. But wait until later the interview is canceled and receive a rejection letter. It's a complete waste of the interviewer's time and energy.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at SailPoint Technologies (Pune) in Sep 2025
Interview
Walk in drive for golang developer
They took 4-6 rounds of each.
After that they told you are selected and there is one more round next week which will be virtual. But they ghosted... HR didn't pick my call, she didn't answer my mail.

Golang related questions.
Managerial questions.
Initial screen with recruiter, interview with hiring manager, live technical assessment. All 3 went very well and based on my work experience, hiring manager had no issues with my application.
After the technical assessment (which went well), recruiter wanted to move forward to the final interviews but decided to downlevel the role with very vague reasoning, and offers a below listing salary range. I pressed for specifics on the reasoning and showed the salary range for the same level role off their website. Recruiter got mad and said they always stick to the mid range and then ghosted me.
I was polite through the entire process and seemingly exceeded the interviews, and my experience matched the role requirements.
All I can think of is that this company does bait & switch postings, hoping to get candidates that will take the downlevel role with lower salary. Not surprised at this as they were acquired by Thoma Bravo (private equity) and then went public again recently.
I'd stay away from this company and don't waste your time interviewing here, their recruiters lack professionalism and their interview process is not transparent.
I apply online, then two interviews done, the people were very nice, during the process I received a good follow-up of, one of the interview was about my professional experence, tools and other things related to the job positition.
