The first call was with a Sainsbury's internal recruiter. The second call was with a Manager of one of the technology teams who would actually be managing me. The process seemed to be going okay, but the end was frustrating.
My CV states clearly that I want to specialise in developing iOS apps (at the moment I do both iOS and Android apps). I made this very clear in the first round interview as well. The description of the job i was applying for does not suggest there would be anything wrong with that. The way the job interview was written actually implied you would be focusing on only one, either iOS or Android, you choice.
In the second round interview the manager then makes it clear that the role is working on both Android and iOS, he seemed to be implying it was my fault the process had gotten all the way to that stage when it wasn't offering the ability to specialise that i wanted!
