Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Salesforce (San Francisco, CA) in August 2009.

Interview

The interview process at SFDC was quick and painless. Excellent follow through and feedback. I met Directors, Managers and recruiters and they gave me honest information regarding the pace and clients. The pace is very fast and they were honest about the fact that there was a lot of work to be done but the environment and culture is supportive.

    Senior Recruiter Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in New York, NY
    No Offer
    Negative Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (New York, NY) in June 2012.

    Interview

Was referred by a friend who worked at SF who highly recommended me. Was contacted by recruiting manager and after chatting for about an hour was told I was a "perfect fit". Was asked to go into city to meet with one of the hiring managers I'd be supporting simply "as a formality". Went into city and hit it off with hiring manager, who immediately IM'd my friend to tell her how great we hit it off. Waited for about a week or so and sent numerous emails. Finally hiring manager called me, told me what a great fit I would be for the company and the role, how great it was that the company was growing, etc., etc., then after about 15 minutes of small talk was told he had "selected someone else for the role". I was stunned. Found out from friend who referrred me that the person they selected lived in the same city as the recruiting manager so they were able to meet in person and he fell in love with her. Big waste of my time, as well as incredibly misleading and unprofessional.

    Interview

I'm taken aback at the kudos given by some folks as my interview experience was near awful. Never before has a recruiter (for a senior recruiter interview) been so ill prepared to speak on the phone. Is was clear she was reading a script from something, yet was still unable to articulate a complete thought around what the job spec was. The interviewer also had an attitude around "well, we're Salesforce". I mean, seriously? If you're only selling point is your new office building in NYC - you have a long way to go!

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5+ months. I interviewed at Salesforce (Chicago, IL) in March 2019.

    Interview

Long but very thoughtful and detailed interview process. I started with a recruiter who was extremely efficient in both scheduling time and answering questions early in the process. Details and comp was hashed out very early in the process which is much appreciated.

    Senior Recruiter Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Amsterdam (Netherlands)
    No Offer
    Negative Experience

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Salesforce (Amsterdam (Netherlands)) in September 2018.

    Interview

1 - It is almost impossible to get a response from a SalesForce recruitment team UNLESS you are referred by someone within the company. So it smells discriminatory.
    2. - The ignorance and arrogance of this recruiter was annoying, especially when SalesForce promotes "Ohana" (Hawaiian: Family) concept.

I am a recruiter myself and dream of working for SF for awhile. I even train myself on SF platform on Trailhead. I did my best preparing for the interview but wasn't given a chance to present myself.

The bottom line is in a telephone call I was asked 2 questions but wasn't give time to present myself and was cut short (after 12 min) in a 30 minutes interview time slot. I wasn't given a chance to even ask her any of my questions.

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Salesforce (Paris (France)) in March 2016.

    Interview
