I applied online. I interviewed at San Diego Padres (San Diego, CA)

      Interview

The first zoom interview was with one person, was about 20 mins, they asked very basic interview questions, super chill and the interviewer was friendly. They responded fast too about a second interview.

It's all about getting in front of the hiring manager. So try dropping them a note on Linkedin and stand out. Otherwise you're one of hundreds in a stack of resumes.

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at San Diego Padres (San Diego, CA) in Apr 2012

      Interview

Really comprehensive interview process. Group-focused, but with one-on-one meetings with various executives. Just need to be comfortable speaking in front of small groups, sharing your ideas. At the end of the day, they just want to see that you can carry on conversations adeptly. They also take you to a restaurant "post-interview," but this is really just a better time for them to get to know you, and see how you converse with others. Be yourself but on good behavior.

      Question 1

What was the most important thing you have learned from a coach/boss? How did it make your stronger?
