    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Schneider Electric (Columbia, MO) in June 2011.

    Interview

Walked in the door and met a very pleasant HR personnel man. He asked a few questions on education and any previous employment. The interview was very quick and easy. Not comparable to today's standards of stringent processes and lengthy waiting period to get an interview and then wait on company decision to hire or not to hire.

    Negotiation

Like I said, the interview process was easy and the pay was exceedingly nice for anyone who worked in fast food industry. At the time, the competitive market was not there comparable to today's market with many people looking for work. If I had to go through the negotiation phase back then with today's standard, I would have done my research to find current pay/benefits comparable to the job position in the area.
