I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Serco, Inc. in August 2011.

Applied though Serco website and contacted about a month later via e-mail and phone. Interview lasted less than an hour. Panel interview with department head and two minions. Standard interview questions, however, at the conclusion I was asked to "tell me something that you haven't told me..." to get this job. Well, I had already said all the good stuff up front, so I had nothing else to add except for saying that I was well suited for the position. Less than two hours after the interview I received an e-mail stating I was not selected. No heartbreak for me as the office setting was a call center and appeared to be more female than male. The position is a government contract to provide job service/coaching assistance via phone to veterans for life
